Getting There

    If you are driving, start by getting onto US-101 N from your current location. Follow signs for San Francisco. Once you are in San Francisco, take the exit toward Marina Blvd. Continue on Marina Blvd until you reach the intersection with Jefferson St. Turn right onto Jefferson St, and you will find the San Francisco Maritime National Historical Park Visitor Center at 499 Jefferson St, located on your right side. There is street parking available in the area, but be aware of parking regulations.

    To reach the San Francisco Maritime National Historical Park Visitor Center using public transportation, take BART (Bay Area Rapid Transit) to the Embarcadero Station. From there, transfer to the Muni F-Line streetcar towards Fisherman’s Wharf. Ride the streetcar until you reach the stop at Jefferson St and Powell St. Disembark and walk west along Jefferson St for about 5 minutes. The Visitor Center will be located at 499 Jefferson St on your left, just a short walk from the streetcar stop.
