The winery crafts small-batch wines exclusively from its estate-grown grapes, reflecting the terroir.Visitors are greeted by views of rolling vineyards and the Mayacamas Mountains. Tastings are held outdoors on the lawn overlooking the vineyards or at tables nestled next to the vines. The tasting room is located in the bottling line room, offering a glimpse into winemaking operations. The room features original oil paintings and sculptures, adding an artistic touch.The O'Briens story began when they visited Napa Valley on their third date, and Barb expressed her dream of owning land there. Bart purchased the Oak Knoll property in 2000, transforming it into a haven for handcrafted wines. O'Brien Estate wines are only sold through visits to the property or via their website to members of their allocation list.O'Brien Estate is located in the Oak Knoll District, known for its moderate temperatures and diversity of grape varieties. The winery dates back to 1978, with the land having a history as a prune and walnut farm. The O'Briens transformed the estate into a haven for quality and personal connection.
