Sutherland Park: A Serene Escape in Napa

Getting There

• Walking

  If you are starting from downtown Napa, head east on 1st Street until you reach the corner of 1st and Main Street. At this intersection, turn left onto Main Street. Continue walking on Main Street for about half a mile until you reach the intersection with Trancas Street. Turn right onto Trancas Street. After walking for about 0.3 miles, you will see the entrance to Sutherland Park on your left at 1563 Baywood Lane. The park is a short walk from here, and you can enjoy the scenery as you approach.

• Public Transit (Bus)

  From downtown Napa, walk to the Napa Transit bus stop located on 1st Street in front of the Napa City Hall. Board the Route 10 bus headed towards Trancas Street. Stay on the bus for about 15 minutes until you reach the stop at Trancas Street and Baywood Lane. From the bus stop, walk a short distance east on Baywood Lane; Sutherland Park will be on your left at 1563 Baywood Lane.

• Bicycle

  If you prefer to ride a bicycle, you can rent one from a local shop in downtown Napa. Start your ride by heading east on 1st Street, then turn left onto Main Street. Follow Main Street for approximately 0.5 miles. When you reach Trancas Street, turn right and continue for about 0.3 miles. Watch for the entrance to Sutherland Park on your left at 1563 Baywood Lane. The bike ride offers a pleasant way to see the area.
