There is a dirt area where visitors can park safely alongside the highway. There are no tolls to consider when approaching the sign. Parking is free.

Ask the driver for the closest stop to the 'Welcome to Napa Valley' sign near Yountville/Oakville. The bus stop may not be directly at the sign, and you may need to walk along the highway shoulder for a short distance. A single ride on The Vine costs approximately $2.50.
