The Civic Center is easily accessible via BART and MUNI. Take any BART line to the Civic Center/UN Plaza station. MUNI Metro lines J, K, L, M, and N also stop at the Civic Center and Van Ness stations. From the station, it's a short walk to City Hall and the Civic Center Plaza. A Clipper card is recommended for ease of payment on both BART and MUNI. A one-way BART ticket from Embarcadero to Civic Center/UN Plaza costs approximately $2.15 - $3.20. A single ride on MUNI costs $3.00.

From Union Square, walk west along Market Street for approximately 1 mile. You'll pass the Orpheum Theatre on your left. Continue towards City Hall, which will become visible in the distance.
