Getting There

  • Public Transit

    If you're starting from downtown Oakland, head to the 12th Street/Oakland City Center BART station. Take the Richmond direction train and get off at the El Cerrito del Norte station. Once you exit the station, head to the bus stop for AC Transit Line 72 or 72M. Board the bus heading towards 'Berkeley' and ride for about 15-20 minutes until you reach the stop at 'Eastshore Park'. From there, it’s a short walk to the park entrance.

    If you are near Lake Merritt, start by walking north along Lakeshore Avenue. Continue on this road until you reach the intersection with Grand Avenue. Turn left onto Grand Avenue and walk until you reach the intersection with Broadway. From Broadway, take the bus line 11 or 12 towards 'Berkeley' and get off at 'Eastshore Park'. The park is a short walk from the bus stop.
