Walking
From downtown Mill Valley, Old Mill Park is easily accessible by foot. Start at Lytton Square and head north on Throckmorton Avenue. Turn left onto Cascade Drive, and you'll find the park entrance a short distance on your right. The walk is approximately 5-10 minutes and offers a pleasant stroll through the heart of Mill Valley.
Public Transport
Several bus lines serve the Mill Valley area, with stops near Old Mill Park. From the Mill Valley Depot, walk north on Miller Avenue, turn left onto Sunnyside Avenue, then left again onto Throckmorton Avenue. Finally, turn left onto Cascade Drive. The park will be on your right. Bus fare is approximately $2-$3.
Driving
From Highway 101, take the Mill Valley/Tiburon exit. Follow the signs to Mill Valley and continue on E Blithedale Avenue. Turn right onto Throckmorton Avenue, then left onto Cascade Drive. Limited street parking is available near the park. Parking is free, but can be difficult to find during peak hours. Consider using the Mill Valley Middle School parking lot and taking the free shuttle during the Mill Valley Fall Arts Festival.
