From Fisherman's Wharf, head east along Jefferson Street, then turn left onto The Embarcadero. Continue walking south along The Embarcadero until you reach Pier 33, which is clearly marked. The walk is approximately 15 minutes. Be aware that the area can be crowded, especially during peak tourist season.
