Port View Park is a captivating waterfront park located at the western terminus of 7th Street in Oakland. Originally opened in 1971, the park was reconfigured and expanded in 1995 following damage from the 1989 Loma Prieta earthquake. Port View Park sits on the Seventh Street Terminal peninsula, built from fill from BART construction projects.
