If you are in downtown Oakland, start by heading to the 12th Street / Oakland City Center BART station. Purchase a ticket to the West Oakland station. Once you arrive at West Oakland, exit the station and head west on 7th Street. Port View Park will be on your right after a few blocks of walking.

From downtown Oakland, you can take the AC Transit bus line 62 or 63 from the 14th Street & Broadway stop. Ride the bus towards the West Oakland BART station. Get off at the '7th St & Campbell St' stop. From there, walk south on Campbell Street until you reach 7th Street, then turn left, and Port View Park will be on your left.
