  • Public Transit - Bus

    From downtown Oakland, head to the 12th St. Oakland City Center BART station. Take the BART train towards San Francisco/Daly City. Get off at the Embarcadero station. Once at Embarcadero, transfer to the Muni F-line streetcar towards Fisherman’s Wharf. Ride the streetcar until you reach the Powell St. station. From there, walk northwest on Powell St. until you reach Lombard St. and turn right. Continue on Lombard until you reach Russian Hill.

  • Public Transit - BART and Muni

    Start at the 19th St. Oakland BART station. Take the BART train towards San Francisco/Daly City. Disembark at the Montgomery St. station. From there, exit the station and transfer to the Muni bus routes 30 or 45. Take either bus towards the Marina District. Get off at the intersection of Hyde St. and Lombard St. Walk a short distance to reach Russian Hill.

  • Walking from Nearby Locations

    If you are already near Fisherman’s Wharf, walk along the waterfront towards Pier 39. From there, head southeast on Beach St., then turn right onto Powell St. Continue walking and take a left on Lombard St. Follow Lombard St. until you reach the top of Russian Hill for stunning views.
