Getting There

  • Walking

    From the Oceanside Transit Center, head east on E Mission Ave toward S Coast Hwy. Turn left onto S Coast Hwy and continue walking south for about 1.5 miles. You will pass various shops and restaurants along the way. The Buena Vista Audubon Society is on your right at 2202 S Coast Hwy. Walking from the transit center takes approximately 30 minutes.

    The North County Transit District (NCTD) operates buses throughout Oceanside. From the Oceanside Transit Center, take a Breeze bus that travels along Coast Highway. Check the NCTD website or app for the most up-to-date schedules and routes. The ride is approximately 10 minutes, and a one-way fare is around $2.50.

  • Driving

    From Interstate 5, exit at Vista Way (Highway 78) and head west towards the beach. Turn left onto South Coast Highway. The Buena Vista Audubon Society will be on your left before the Buena Vista Lagoon. There is a small free parking lot adjacent to the venue. Parking is limited, especially during peak hours and events.
