Public Transport
From downtown San Diego, take the UC San Diego Blue Line Trolley to the 'UCSD Central Campus' station. From there, transfer to the 985 bus, which will take you directly to Torrey Pines Golf Course. The bus stop is a short walk to the course entrance. The whole trip will take approximately 1 hour and 23 minutes. A one-way fare on the trolley is around $2.50, and the bus fare is similar.
Driving
From Interstate 5 (Northbound): Exit at Genesee Avenue and turn left (west). Genesee Avenue curves right, becoming North Torrey Pines Road. Turn right at the 'Golf Course' sign after Science Park Way. Follow North Torrey Pines Road and turn right at the stop sign into the parking area. From Interstate 5 (Southbound): Exit at Carmel Valley Road and turn right (west). Turn left onto Camino Del Mar, which becomes North Torrey Pines Road. Continue past Torrey Pines State Beach and the driving range. Turn right into the golf course parking lot. Parking at Torrey Pines Golf Course varies depending on events. Expect to pay a premium during major tournaments. Consider booking parking in advance.
