    Getting There

    Driving

    From Pacific Coast Highway (PCH), turn onto Malibu Canyon Road. Follow Malibu Canyon Road to the entrance of Pepperdine University. Stop at the guard booth to obtain a visitor parking pass and directions. Parking is available in designated visitor lots. Note that parking regulations are enforced, and fines can be significant.

    Public Transport

    From Downtown Santa Monica, take the Metro E Line to Downtown Santa Monica Station. Transfer to the Big Blue Bus Route 134 towards Malibu. Get off at the Malibu Canyon / Civic Center stop. From there, you can walk or take a short ride-share to the university. Bus fare is approximately $1.25.

    From Los Angeles International Airport (LAX), a ride-sharing service (Uber/Lyft) to Pepperdine University will cost approximately $60-100, depending on traffic and the type of service. The journey will take around 35-45 minutes.

    Pepperdine University, a private institution affiliated with the Churches of Christ, was established in 1937 by George Pepperdine, the founder of Western Auto Supply Company. Originally located in South Los Angeles, the university moved to its current Malibu location in 1972, expanding to an 830-acre campus nestled in the Santa Monica Mountains. The architecture is designed to complement the surrounding natural beauty. Pepperdine is composed of Seaver College of Letters, Arts, and Sciences, the Graziadio Business School, the Graduate School of Education and Psychology, the Caruso School of Law, and the School of Public Policy.
