Driving
From the town of Joshua Tree, drive approximately 14 miles east on Park Boulevard. If entering from the park's west entrance, continue for about 10 miles; the campground will be on your left. From the north entrance in Twentynine Palms, proceed about 16 miles on Park Boulevard; the campground will be on your right. Keep in mind that entering Joshua Tree National Park requires paying an entrance fee. A 7-day pass for a private vehicle is $30. Alternatively, an annual Joshua Tree National Park pass is available for $55. An America the Beautiful Pass, which grants access to all national parks and federal recreation lands, costs $80 per year. Camping at Hidden Valley costs $25 per night.
