Car
From the Joshua Tree Visitor Center on Park Boulevard, drive south for approximately 15 miles. Turn left onto Keys View Road and continue for about 5.5 miles to the end of the road, where you'll find the Keys View parking area. There are no additional parking fees at Keys View, but a Joshua Tree National Park entrance fee of $30 per vehicle is required. This pass is valid for 7 days. Alternatively, an America the Beautiful Annual National Parks Pass can be purchased for $80, granting access to numerous federal recreation sites for a year.
Public Transport & Rideshare
To reach Keys View via public transport, take a bus to the town of Joshua Tree. From there, arrange a rideshare service like Uber or Lyft to Keys View, as public transportation within the park is limited. Rideshare costs vary depending on distance and demand. As an estimate, a one-way trip from the town of Joshua Tree to Keys View could cost between $30 and $50. Please note that Uber and Lyft availability can be unreliable.
