Over the years, it has transformed through different names, including Courtyard 10, Signature 10, and Regal Palm Springs Stadium 9, before becoming Festival Theaters Palm Springs. The theater boasts modern facilities, including multiple screens with stadium seating to ensure optimal viewing. Digital sound systems enhance the immersive atmosphere, bringing movies to life. Festival Theaters is more than just a cinema; it is a cultural landmark that plays a significant role in the city's artistic landscape. The theater is a proud host of the annual Palm Springs International Film Festival and the summer ShortFest, drawing filmmakers and movie enthusiasts globally. In November 2024, Regal closed the theater, but it reopened as Festival Theaters Palm Springs on December 16, 2024.
