Getting There

  • Public Transportation - Bus

    From Palo Alto, head to the nearest Caltrain station, located at 95 University Ave. Take the Caltrain southbound towards San Jose. Get off at the Mountain View station, which is about a 10-minute ride. Once you arrive at the Mountain View station, exit and head to the bus stop located right outside the station. Take the VTA Bus Line 34 towards 'Moffett Field' and get off at the 'N Shoreline Blvd & E Middlefield Rd' stop. From there, it’s a short walk to the Computer History Museum, located at 1401 N Shoreline Blvd.

    If you prefer biking, you can rent a bike from a local bike-sharing service. Start from downtown Palo Alto and head south on Middlefield Rd. Continue until you reach the intersection of Middlefield Rd and E. El Camino Real. Turn left onto E.
