The reservoir is encircled by a 3.3-mile paved road used for walking, jogging, and bicycling. The Mulholland Dam, which creates the reservoir, was designed by William Mulholland and completed in 1924.

Turn left onto N Beachwood Drive and continue for 1.1 miles. Turn right onto Lake Hollywood Drive and continue for 0.7 miles. Lake Hollywood Park will be on your left. This is approximately a 50-minute walk.
