Driving
Six Flags Discovery Kingdom is located at 1001 Fairgrounds Dr, Vallejo, CA 94589, off Interstate 80, midway between San Francisco and Sacramento. From I-80, take the Highway 37 exit. Then, from Highway 37, take the Fairgrounds Drive exit. Parking at the park costs $45 for general parking. Preferred parking is also available for a higher price. Consider purchasing parking online in advance.
Public Transport
Several public transportation options are available to reach Six Flags Discovery Kingdom. Amtrak offers a Thruway Shuttle from the Martinez Station. Vallejo BartLink provides transportation from the El Cerrito Del Norte BART station, though there is no service on Sundays. SolTrans also provides transportation to Discovery Kingdom from the Vallejo Transit Building and Westfield Solano Mall on Routes 5 and 85, but there is no service on Sundays. High-speed catamaran ferry service is available from San Francisco's Pier 39. From the Vallejo Ferry Terminal, you can take a bus or taxi to the park. Bus fare is approximately $2-$4.
