From the intersection of South Bay Blvd and Santa Ysabel Ave, head north on South Bay Blvd, then turn right onto 17th St. Parking is available along the street. The trailhead is a short walk from the street. The entrance is free.

    The Regional Transit Authority (RTA) serves Los Osos. From the intersection of 10th & Santa Ynez, which is a bus stop for routes 12N and 12S, it is approximately a 15-20 minute walk to the Elfin Forest entrances along 17th St. Head west on Santa Ynez Ave, then turn left onto 16th St, and then turn right onto Los Osos Valley Rd, then turn right onto 17th St. The entrance is a short walk from the street. A single ride on the RTA bus costs around $2.
