Lake Redding Park, a 10-acre haven near downtown Redding, offers a scenic escape with its lush greenery and Sacramento River frontage. Enjoy a picnic, let the kids loose on the playground, or launch a boat for a relaxing day on the water.

Walking
From downtown Redding, head south on Market Street towards the Sacramento River. Cross the Sundial Bridge and continue following the Sacramento River Trail. Lake Redding Park will be on your right, a short walk from the bridge. The walk is approximately 1.5 miles and should take around 30 minutes. There is no cost for walking.
Public Transport
Take RABA bus route 11 or 14 from the Downtown Passenger Terminal to the Benton Drive at Quartz Hill Road stop. From there, walk west on Benton Drive for a few minutes to reach the park. A single ride on RABA costs $2.
Driving
From I-5, take the Cypress Avenue exit and head east. Turn right onto Benton Drive. The park will be on your left. Parking is available in multiple lots within the park. Parking is free.
