If you are in the downtown area of Sacramento, you can start at the Sacramento Convention Center. Exit the convention center and head east on J Street towards 15th Street. Turn right on 15th Street and walk south until you reach K Street. Turn left onto K Street, and continue walking for about 5 blocks. The State Indian Museum will be on your right at 2618 K St, Sacramento, CA 95816.

You can take the Sacramento Regional Transit bus. Find the nearest bus stop and catch the bus on routes that pass through downtown Sacramento. Look for routes that head towards Midtown or K Street. Get off at the stop closest to K Street. From there, walk east on K Street for about 3 blocks; the museum will be on your left at 2618 K St.

Board the light rail at any station in downtown Sacramento. You can take the Blue Line towards Watt/I-80. Get off at the 16th Street Station. From there, walk west on 16th Street to J Street, then turn left and walk to 15th Street. Turn right on 15th Street and walk south until you reach K Street.
