Located just outside of Salinas, California, The Farm is an agricultural education center and local farming business that provides a pleasant rural destination for tourists. The Farm offers visitors a chance to connect with the Salinas Valley's agricultural heritage. Known as the 'Salad Bowl of the World,' the valley's unique soil and weather allow for a wide variety of crops. Visitors can explore the certified organic demonstration farm, which grows around thirty different crops, from strawberries and lettuces to corn, pumpkins, and tomatoes. The farm shop features fresh organic produce for sale, as well as a bakery with pies made from the farm's own fruit.
