Driving
From Highway 1, take the Potrero Road exit west towards the beach. Follow Potrero Road for about a mile to reach the main parking area. Parking is free. Be aware that the parking lot can get crowded during peak season. There are also other entrances to the beach, including one off Monterey Dunes Way.
Public Transport
Monterey-Salinas Transit (MST) provides bus service to the area. Check the MST website or app for the most up-to-date route and schedule information. From the bus stop, it may be necessary to walk a short distance to reach the beach. A single ride fare on MST is typically around $2-$3.
