Getting There

• Walking

  Start at the center of Carmel-by-the-Sea, particularly at the intersection of Ocean Avenue and San Carlos Street. Head south on San Carlos Street towards the ocean. Continue walking straight for about 0.5 miles until you reach the intersection with 7th Avenue. Turn left onto 7th Avenue and walk until you hit the coastline. At the end of 7th Avenue, you'll find yourself at the scenic Coast Path. Follow the path south, and after a short walk of around 0.3 miles, you will arrive at Lovers Point Park, located at 631 Ocean View Blvd in Pacific Grove.

• Biking

  If you have a bike, start at the intersection of Ocean Avenue and San Carlos Street in Carmel-by-the-Sea. Head south on San Carlos Street, then after about 0.5 miles, turn left onto 7th Avenue. Continue down 7th Avenue until you reach the coast. Here, you can join the Coast Path which runs along the scenic shoreline. Keep biking south along the path for approximately 0.3 miles, and you will arrive at Lovers Point Park, located at 631 Ocean View Blvd in Pacific Grove.

• Public Transportation

  From Carmel-by-the-Sea, you can catch the Monterey-Salinas Transit (MST) bus. Take the MST bus line 1 or 2 towards Pacific Grove. Get off at the stop nearest to Ocean View Blvd and 17th Street, which is just a short walk from the park. Once you disembark, head east on 17th Street until you reach Ocean View Blvd. Turn right, and you will find Lovers Point Park at 631 Ocean View Blvd.
