If driving from downtown San Diego, take I-5 North to the Balboa Avenue exit. Head west on Balboa Avenue, then turn left onto Mission Bay Drive. Follow Mission Bay Drive to Crown Point Drive and turn right. The park will be on your left. There are three large parking lots available, and parking is free. However, parking lots close at 10 PM. During peak season or special events, parking may be limited, so arriving early is recommended.

From various locations in San Diego, you can take the MTS bus route 9, which stops near Crown Point Shores. From the Ingraham St & La Mancha Dr bus stop, it is a short 5-minute walk to the park. A one-way fare on the MTS bus is $2.50.
