From anywhere in Ocean Beach, walking to the beach, pier, or Newport Avenue is generally easy and convenient. The area is pedestrian-friendly, with sidewalks and crosswalks throughout. From Sunset Cliffs Natural Park, it's approximately a 45-minute walk along Sunset Cliffs Boulevard to the main area of Ocean Beach. Be sure to wear comfortable shoes and bring water, especially on warm days.
