    The Balboa Park Carousel is located in the heart of Balboa Park, adjacent to the San Diego Zoo. From the Plaza de Panama, walk east towards the San Diego Zoo. The carousel will be on your left, near the Zoo's entrance. No additional costs are involved.

  • Public Transport

    Take MTS Rapid 215 or Route 7 to the Zoo Place stop. From there, the carousel is a short walk away. A one-way fare on PRONTO is $2.50 and is valid for unlimited transfers within two hours.

  • Driving

    From I-5 North, take the Pershing Drive/B Street exit. Turn left on Florida Drive, then left on Zoo Place, and finally left on Park Boulevard. The carousel will be on your right. Free parking is available in various lots throughout Balboa Park. Check for the free tram from Inspiration Point. Limited valet parking is available in front of The Prado Restaurant for a fee.
