Getting There

• Ferry

  From downtown San Diego, take the Coronado Ferry from either Broadway Pier or the San Diego Convention Center to the Coronado Ferry Landing. The ferry ride is approximately 15 minutes. As of July 2025, the fare is $9 each way for adults and children over 3. Children 3 and under are free. From the Ferry Landing, you can walk to many attractions or take the free Summer Shuttle along Orange Avenue.

• Public Transport

  From San Diego International Airport, take the MTS bus route 994 to the Broadway and 3rd Avenue stop. Transfer to bus 901, which will take you over the Coronado Bridge. Exit at the 3rd Street & Orange Street stop. From there, it's a short walk to many Coronado attractions. A one-way fare is $2.50. An all-day pass is $6. During the summer, a free shuttle operates along Orange Avenue, connecting the Ferry Landing to other parts of the island.

• Car

  From San Diego, take the San Diego-Coronado Bridge (Highway 75) to Coronado Island. There is no toll to cross the bridge. Free parking is available along Ocean Boulevard near the beach. You can park for up to 2 hours on Orange Avenue. Metered parking on Orange Avenue costs $0.25 per hour. The Ferry Landing has paid parking; the first 2 hours are free for Ferry Landing customers, after which fees apply. RVs under 24 feet can park on residential streets for up to 72 hours.
