The bus runs frequently, and a one-way fare is typically $2.50. Alternatively, take the Rapid 215 bus to the San Diego Zoo stop and walk a short distance to the Fleet.     From many locations within Balboa Park, the Fleet Science Center is easily accessible by foot. Follow the El Prado walkway east towards the Bea Evenson Fountain; the Fleet will be on your right.

A taxi from San Diego International Airport (SAN) to Balboa Park typically costs $16-$21 and takes approximately 8 minutes. From downtown San Diego, a taxi to Balboa Park will cost around $9-$12.     From I-5 South, exit at 10th Avenue, turn left on A Street, then left on Park Boulevard. From I-5 North, take the Pershing Drive/B Street exit, turn left on Florida Drive, then left on Zoo Place, and finally left on Park Boulevard. Turn left onto Space Theater Way. Parking at the Fleet Science Center is free and located at Space Theater Way off Park Boulevard. Additional parking lots are available throughout Balboa Park. Be aware that parking can be limited, especially during peak hours.
