Walking
From the intersection of Grant Avenue and Francisco Street in Telegraph Hill, walk north on Grant Avenue. Look for a staircase on the east side of Grant Avenue, across from Pfeiffer Street, marked with a sign that reads 'Dead end stairway. No outlet'. The entrance to Jack Early Park is at the top of this staircase. There are no fees associated with walking to the park.
Public Transport
From Fisherman's Wharf, take the F-Line streetcar towards Market Street. Get off at the stop closest to Columbus Avenue and Grant Avenue. Walk north on Grant Avenue, up the hill towards Telegraph Hill. The staircase leading to Jack Early Park will be on your right, across from Pfeiffer Street. A single ride on Muni costs $3.00, or $2.50 with a Clipper card. A day pass costs $5.70 and is valid for unlimited rides on Muni buses, trains, and streetcars.
Taxi/Ride-share
From North Beach, a taxi or ride-share to the intersection of Grant Avenue and Francisco Street, near the entrance of Jack Early Park, will typically cost between $10 and $15, depending on traffic and demand. Ask the driver to drop you off near the 'Dead end stairway' sign on Grant Avenue.
