Getting There

  • Muni Bus

    From the Powell Street Station, board the 38 Geary bus heading west. After approximately 10 minutes, get off at the California St & Van Ness Ave stop. From there, walk uphill on California Street for about 5 minutes, and you will reach Grace Cathedral located at 1100 California St.

  • Cable Car

    Start at Powell Street Cable Car Station. Board the Powell-Hyde or Powell-Mason line. Ride for about 10 minutes and get off at the California St & Powell St stop. Walk one block east on California Street for about 3 minutes, and you will find Grace Cathedral at 1100 California St.

  • Walking

    If you are near Union Square, walk to Powell St and head northwest towards California St. Turn left on California St and continue walking for about 15 minutes. You will pass through the Nob Hill area, and Grace Cathedral will be on your right at 1100 California St.

    Take BART to the Montgomery St station. From there, exit and transfer to Muni by walking to the Market St & Montgomery St stop. Board the 1 California bus heading towards California & Van Ness.
