The Metro bus operates four lines in the city of Monterey Park: 70, 106, 258, 260. Single fares typically cost $1.75. From the I-10 Freeway, exit at Garfield Avenue and proceed south to Newmark Avenue. Turn right onto Newmark Avenue. Barnes Park is located directly behind City Hall. Limited street parking is available. Check for parking restrictions. Free parking and shuttle service is available approximately every 15 minutes to the festival. Please do not park in the library parking lot for the Cherry Blossom Festival.
