    Getting There

    Public Transit

    From San Mateo, walk to the San Mateo Caltrain station located at 2 N B St. Take the Caltrain towards San Francisco (the train will display 'San Francisco' on the front). Get off at the 4th & King station. Once you arrive, transfer to the Muni T-Third line (the stop is right outside the station). Ride for 4 stops and get off at the Embarcadero station. From there, transfer to the F-Market & Wharves streetcar and ride for 7 stops until you reach the Fisherman's Wharf stop. Pier 39 is a short walk from the streetcar stop, located along Beach St.

    Bus

    From San Mateo, head to the nearest bus stop and take SamTrans bus route 292 towards the Millbrae Transit Center. Get off at the Millbrae Transit Center and transfer to the BART train towards San Francisco/Daly City. Ride the BART train until you reach the Montgomery St. station. From there, transfer to the Muni F-Market streetcar and ride towards Fisherman’s Wharf. Disembark at the Fisherman’s Wharf stop, and Pier 39 is just a short walk away on Beach St.
