Board the VTA Light Rail Line 901 (Blue Line) towards Alum Rock Station. Ride for approximately 10 minutes and disembark at the 'Story & 28th' stop. From there, walk east on Story Road for about 0.5 miles until you reach Happy Hollow Park & Zoo located at 748 Story Rd, San Jose, CA 95112.
