Getting There

• Public Transit

  Start at the Santa Monica Pier. Head east to the nearest bus stop on Colorado Ave and 4th St. Take the Metro Line 10 bus towards 'Union Station'. After about 30 minutes, get off at the 'Los Angeles Union Station' stop. From here, transfer to the Metrolink train. Purchase a ticket for the Antelope Valley Line heading towards 'Laguna Niguel'. Get off at the 'Valencia' station. From the station, you can take an Uber or Lyft to 26101 Magic Mountain Pkwy, which is about a 10-minute ride.

• Bicycle

  From Santa Monica, rent a bike at one of the many bike rental shops in the area. Start by heading northeast on Ocean Ave, then take the bike path until you reach the intersection with Pico Blvd. Turn left onto Pico Blvd and continue straight. Follow Pico Blvd as it turns into Newhall Ranch Rd. Continue on Newhall Ranch Rd until you reach the Magic Mountain Parkway. Turn right onto Magic Mountain Parkway, and you will arrive at Six Flags Magic Mountain in approximately 1.5 hours, depending on your speed.

• Walking

  Walking is not a feasible option due to the distance from Santa Monica to Six Flags Magic Mountain, which is approximately 30 miles. If you are looking for an adventure, you can walk to the nearest Metro station, which is the 'Downtown Santa Monica' station on the Expo Line. From there, take the train towards 'Union Station'. Once at Union Station, transfer to the Metrolink train as described in the public transit section. However, this option is highly discouraged because of the long distance.

• Ride-sharing

  For a more direct route, use a ride-sharing app such as Uber or Lyft. Simply request a ride from your current location in Santa Monica to 26101 Magic Mountain Pkwy, Valencia, CA. The ride will take around 30-40 minutes, depending on traffic conditions. Make sure to confirm your pickup point to avoid any delays.
