Walking
From the center of Downtown Santa Monica, head west on Colorado Avenue towards the beach. Continue straight until you reach Ocean Avenue. Turn right on Ocean Avenue and walk south towards the pier. The Santa Monica Pier is located at 200 Santa Monica Pier, just a few blocks away, and you will see the entrance to the pier as you approach the ocean.

If you prefer to bike, you can rent a bike from one of the many rental shops in Downtown Santa Monica. Once you have a bike, head west on Colorado Avenue towards the beach. When you reach Ocean Avenue, turn right and follow it south. The Santa Monica Pier is located at 200 Santa Monica Pier, and there are bike racks available for parking near the entrance.

You can take the Big Blue Bus Route 1 or Route 3 to get closer to the pier. Board the bus at any nearby stop in Downtown Santa Monica. Make sure to get off at the stop at Ocean Avenue and Colorado Avenue. From there, it's just a short walk west on Colorado Avenue to reach the Santa Monica Pier at 200 Santa Monica Pier. A single ride on the bus costs $1.00.
