Hiking
Starting from the Giant Forest Museum, head south on the main trail towards the General Sherman Tree. Follow the signs for the Congress Trail, which begins near the museum. Continue walking for about 0.5 miles until you reach the intersection with the main road. Cross the road carefully and stay on the path that leads toward the Giant Forest. After approximately 1 mile, you will see a sign for the Fallen Monarch on your left. The trail will lead you directly to this magnificent fallen giant.

If you are at Crescent Meadow, start at the parking area. Take the Crescent Meadow Loop trail heading northeast. Walk along the trail for about 1 mile until you reach the junction with the Congress Trail. Turn left on the Congress Trail and continue for another 0.7 miles. You will soon see a sign directing you to the Fallen Monarch. Follow this path to reach the fallen tree.
