Merge onto I-5 N and continue for about 50 miles. Take exit 685 for CA-299 W toward Arcata. After approximately 29 miles on CA-299 W, take the exit for Big Bar. Follow the signs to the Shasta-Trinity National Forest entrance. Be aware that parking fees may apply depending on the specific area you wish to visit.
