Driving
From the town of McCloud, drive approximately 5 miles east on Highway 89. Look for the Forest Service sign on the left-hand side of the highway indicating 'Fowlers Camp and Lower Falls'. Turn right onto the McCloud River Loop Road (Forest Road 40N44). Continue along this road, staying right at the fork (the left leads to Fowlers Campground). Follow the road to the Lower Falls Day Use and parking area. Parking is free. Be aware that parking can be difficult on weekends and holidays, especially from late spring to early fall, so arrive early or later in the afternoon.

From Mount Shasta, take the Siskiyou Transit bus towards McCloud. Get off at the 'Across from McCloud Post Office' stop in McCloud.
