Car
If you're driving to Vernal Falls, start by heading to Yosemite National Park. The main entrance is located at Arch Rock Entrance on Highway 140. From there, follow signs to Yosemite Valley. Once in the valley, continue on Southside Drive and look for signs directing you to the Yosemite Falls area. Park at the Yosemite Falls parking area. From the parking lot, the trailhead for Vernal Falls is located at the eastern end of the parking area, near the Happy Isles Shuttle stop.

For those relying on public transportation, take a bus to Yosemite Valley. The YARTS (Yosemite Area Regional Transportation System) connects to various locations in the Sierra Nevada region. Once you arrive at Yosemite Valley, you can take the Yosemite Shuttle to the Happy Isles stop, which is the closest stop to the Vernal Falls trailhead.
