From the center of Tahoe City, start at the intersection of N Lake Blvd and Alpine Meadows Rd. Head north on N Lake Blvd for about 3 miles. You will pass various shops and restaurants along the way. Continue until you reach the intersection with Bear St in Kings Beach. Turn left onto Bear St. The Kings Beach State Recreation Area entrance will be on your right. Look for the signs indicating the beach access.
