    From the center of Tahoe City, head north on N Lake Blvd. Continue walking along N Lake Blvd for approximately 0.5 miles. You will pass by several shops and restaurants. As you approach the intersection with Highway 28, look for signs directing you to Tahoe State Recreation Area. The entrance to the recreation area will be on your right. The total walking distance is about 1 mile from the center of Tahoe City.

    If you have access to a bicycle, start from the center of Tahoe City and head north on N Lake Blvd. Follow the bike lane along N Lake Blvd, which will lead you directly toward the Tahoe State Recreation Area.
