Getting There

Car
If you are starting from South Lake Tahoe, take US-50 East towards Stateline. Merge onto CA-89 North and continue for approximately 16 miles. You will then merge onto CA-28 North towards Kings Beach. Continue on CA-28 for about 10 miles, and you will arrive in Kings Beach. Look for signs indicating Kings Beach, and once you reach the town, follow the signs to the beach area.

To reach Kings Beach via public transportation, take the BlueGO bus service from South Lake Tahoe. Board the bus at the nearest stop heading towards Kings Beach, and stay on the bus for about 1 hour and 15 minutes. The bus will take you along the scenic Lake Tahoe route.
