Getting There

Public Bus
From Tahoe City, walk to the nearest bus stop on Highway 89. Take the Tahoe Area Regional Transit (TART) bus heading south towards Truckee. After approximately 1 hour, transfer at the Truckee Depot to the Greyhound bus towards Reno. Once you arrive in Reno, disembark at the Reno Greyhound Station. From there, walk to the nearest bus stop and catch the RTC bus #1 towards the Riverwalk District. Get off at the 'Court St & Virginia St' stop. The Lake Mansion Arts and Cultural Center is just a short walk from there, located at 250 Court St.

Bike Rental
Rent a bike from one of the local bike rental shops in Tahoe City. Start your ride on the scenic Truckee River Bike Trail heading south toward Reno. Follow the trail for about 15 miles until you reach the outskirts of Reno. As you approach Reno, continue on the bike trail until you reach the Riverwalk District. Once in the district, locate Court St and continue to 250 Court St, where the Lake Mansion Arts and Cultural Center is located.

Walking
If you're up for a longer adventure, you can walk from Tahoe City to Reno. Start at the Lake Tahoe Basin and head south along Highway 89 towards the Truckee River. Follow the river trails towards Reno, a distance of about 30 miles. Once you reach Reno, navigate to the Riverwalk District, then head towards Court St. The Lake Mansion Arts and Cultural Center will be at 250 Court St. This route will take several hours, so ensure you're well-prepared with water and snacks.
