    Walking

    If you are starting from the center of Tahoe City, head south on N Lake Blvd. Continue walking for about 1.5 miles until you reach CA-89. At the intersection, turn left onto CA-89. Walk for approximately 0.8 miles until you see signs for Pope Beach on your right. Follow the pathway to the beach entrance.

    Biking

    From Tahoe City, you can rent a bike at one of the local rental shops. Start on N Lake Blvd heading south for about 1.5 miles. When you reach CA-89, turn left and ride for another 0.8 miles. Look for the signs for Pope Beach on your right and follow the bike path to the beach entrance.

    Public Transport

    Catch the Tahoe Area Regional Transit (TART) bus from the nearest stop in Tahoe City. Look for the route heading towards South Lake Tahoe. Get off at the stop closest to CA-89. From there, walk south on CA-89 for about 0.5 miles until you see the entrance to Pope Beach on your left.
