    From Old Town Temecula, head southeast on Front Street towards 6th Street. Continue straight onto Moreno Road. Walk along Moreno Road for about 1.5 miles. The park will be on your left before you reach the intersection with State Street. There are no entry fees for the park.

  • Public Transport

    From the Temecula Valley Transit Center, take the Route 1 bus towards Rancho California Rd. Get off at the Moreno Rd and State St stop. Head east on Moreno Rd for about 0.2 miles. Sam Hicks Monument Park will be on your right. The bus fare is approximately $1.75.

  • Parking

    There is a parking lot available at Sam Hicks Monument Park. Additional parking is available in Old Town Temecula, including the Old Town Parking Garage on Mercedes Street and the 6th Street Parking Lot. Free parking for one hour is available at 42482 2nd Street. Parking at the Temecula Valley Museum is free for visitors during museum hours. Check posted signs for any parking restrictions.
