From the Tracy Transit Center, head east on 6th Street, then turn right onto Central Ave. Turn left onto 11th Street, followed by a right onto East Street. The water tower will be on your left. The walk is approximately 15-20 minutes. There are no costs associated with walking.

To reach the Tracy Water Tower via public transport, take TRACER bus routes A, B, C, D, E, F, or G to the East St & Highland Ave Sb/Nb stop. From there, walk south on East Street for a few minutes until you see the Tracy Water Tower on your left. As of July 1, 2025, TRACER bus service operates Monday through Friday from approximately 7:00 am to 7:00 pm and Saturdays from 9:00 am to 7:00 pm. A single ride on TRACER costs $1.50 for adults. Students ride free on TRACER Fixed Route.
