Public Transit
From Union City BART Station, take the BART train towards San Francisco/Daly City. After approximately 30 minutes, transfer at the Fremont station to the Warm Springs/South Fremont line. Continue on the train until you reach the San Jose Diridon station. From there, you can take the VTA Light Rail towards the Winchester station. Get off at the San Jose Convention Center stop. Walk south on S Market St for about 5 minutes until you reach 255 S Almaden Blvd, where the San Jose Center for the Performing Arts is located.

From the Union City Transit Center, take bus route 217 towards Hayward BART. After a short ride, transfer to bus 66 towards San Jose Diridon Station at the Hayward BART station. Stay on the bus until you reach the San Jose Convention Center stop. From there, walk south on S Market St for about 5 minutes to arrive at 255 S Almaden Blvd, the location of the San Jose Center for the Performing Arts.

If you're near the Union Landing shopping area in Union City, you can take a scenic walk to the San Jose Center for the Performing Arts. Head south on Union Square Dr and continue to the intersection with Dyer St. Turn left onto Dyer St and walk until you reach the intersection with Alvarado Niles Rd. From there, head east until you reach the Union City BART Station. Follow the earlier public transit instructions from there.
