Walking
Starting from the Venice Beach Boardwalk, head northeast on Ocean Front Walk towards Windward Ave. Continue on Windward Ave until you reach Pacific Ave. Turn left on Pacific Ave and walk until you reach the intersection with Rose Ave. From there, catch the Big Blue Bus line 1 towards Santa Monica. After about a 30-minute ride, get off at the stop at 4th St & Broadway. Walk east on Broadway towards S Hill St, and you will soon see the Angels Flight Railway at 351 S Hill St.

If you prefer biking, start at the Venice Beach Bike Rentals located along the boardwalk. Rent a bike and head north on the bike path along the beach until you reach Santa Monica. Continue inland until you get to 4th St. Turn right and ride down to Broadway. At Broadway, turn left and ride until you reach S Hill St. The Angels Flight Railway will be on your left at 351 S Hill St.

From Venice Beach, walk to the nearest bus stop on Pacific Ave. Catch the Big Blue Bus line 1 towards Santa Monica, and ride for about 30 minutes. Disembark at the 4th St & Broadway stop.
